WASHINGTON (CBSDC) - Jordan Zimmermann has been scratched from his first start of the season with flu-like symptoms, the Nationals announced on Thursday.
Instead, Tanner Roark will get the start for the chance to close out Washington’s season-opening series sweep over the New York Mets, against whom they have won the first two games.
Also, Bryce Harper will bat second against the Mets, as noted by James Wagner of the Washington Post.
