WASHINGTON (CBSDC) – The Washington Nationals agreed to terms with Jordan Zimmerman and Drew Storen on Friday, avoiding arbitration with both players.

The team announced a two-year deal with Zimmermann, reportedly worth $24 million, according to Adam Kilgore of the Washington Post.

Kilgore reports Storen is set to earn $3.45 million, with a $1 million incentive for 60 games finished. On the surface, this could indicate the team may be looking at moving Storen back into the closer role.

The Nationals also agreed to terms with left-handed pitcher Ross Detwiler late Thursday evening (terms not made available), and last week, reached a deal with Stephen Strasburg. He will be paid $3.975 million (plus performance bonuses), according to Jon Heyman of CBS Sports; only a slight increase from his 2013 salary.

Other Nationals still eligible to hit arbitration include Tyler Clippard, Ian Desmond, Ross Ohlendorf.
